Winter colds suck. Well…all colds suck…but it’s miserable outside, and you feel miserable inside. What better than a good cup of tea with some spice and citrus to help you out. We can’t have hot toddy’s all day long!

Raw and organic is the way to go with this…from the honey to the fruit, make sure you’re putting only the best in your body!

juice squeezed from 2 grapefruits (approx 2 cups)
3 tbsp honey
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp whole allspice berries
In a medium sized pot mix together the juice with the allspice, honey, cinnamon, and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a low boil over high heat. Turn heat down and let simmer for 2 minutes, then strain , discarding the solids.
If you want to be fancy, serve with a grapefruit segment or strip of zest, and a cinnamon stick.
