The photo isn’t pretty or exciting, but this is a good staple to have in your fridge, even if you aren’t vegan, it’s that tasty and healthy!
There are lots of recipes for a vegan version of parmesan cheese on the internet – seriously, just google it – but I’ve found that this combination is my favourite.
It has more of a a garlic tang to it, and I found this melted the best in my pasta dishes, plus I get to hide hemp seeds in there!
Make Your Meal Even Healthier Tip:
This is already packed with great stuff…but you can play around with the ratios as you see fit. Use different kinds of nuts, or more nooch!

Approx 1 large Cup
– 1 cup cashews
– 1 tbsp pine nuts
– 2 tbsp hemp seeds
– 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
– 1/2 tsp sea salt
– 1/2 tsp onion powder
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Pulse all ingredients in food processor or blender.
Do not over mix or it will turn into a nut-butter-like substance.
